Deputies responded to the Super 8 on US 23 after employees said an unwanted visitor had been causing problems all night.
They said the woman was not a registered guest but was staying in a room with someone else. However, since she only had one leg, they were not allowed to throw a handicapped person out. They expressed concerns that the woman was on drugs.
Officers learned that there was an open warrant for the woman’s arrest for probation violation. She was transported to the hospital, but the probation department said they had no one available to supervise her at the hospital.
