Out-of-Control Dogs Reported on Slate Run Road

Out-of-Control Dogs Reported on Slate Run Road

Deputies responded to multiple calls about out-of-control animals over the weekend.

Just after 11 am, a Tucker Street Caller complained that a black dog had attempted to get onto her back porch and had torn up several screens.

When a deputy responded to the scene, he picked up a puppy. No one in the area knew who it belonged to, so he took it to the dog pound.

A Slate Run Road caller claimed that his neighbors’ out-of-control dogs kept coming onto his property. He said their dogs had attacked his dog.

An officer spoke with the dogs’ owners and advised them to keep the animals secure.

Officers responded to Smith Perry Road on Sunday morning for an ongoing dispute involving a flock of chickens that keep getting onto a neighbor’s property. The owner of the chicken said they were attempting to get rid of the chickens and were in the process of getting someone to catch all of them.
