Overdose at Burger King
Just before noon, officers and medical personnel responded to the Burger King after a report that someone had overdosed in a white Toyota at the restaurant on Gallia Street. Medics transported the overdose victim to the hospital.
Three hours later, police returned to the restaurant parking lot for a report of a man using drugs in a pickup truck.
Police said the man was grinding marijuana but knocked it onto the floor when officers arrived. They noticed a small amount of pot scattered on the floorboard and under the seats. Officers advised him to leave the area and not return.
