Overdose on the Job at Savory Foods 

EMS and officers responded to multiple reports of overdoses.  

Just before 10 am, medics and officers responded to a report of a man overdosing on Timmonds Avenue. 

The man refused medical treatment and did not want to go to the hospital. However, he did speak with a member of the crisis response team. 

At 3:31 pm, a caller reported that a man had overdosed in the alley behind 3rd Street. The man refused to go to the hospital, and officers left him with a sober friend.  

At 11:55 pm, a caller reported someone had overdosed in a black car in the 1500 block of Mound Street. However, the vehicle was gone by the time police arrived.  

At 5:33 am, EMS and officers responded to Savory Foods for a report of an overdose. By the time officers arrived, the fire department had revived the victim. The victim’s shift supervisor said they would get the man a ride home.
