Narcan came to the rescue once again after two separate overdoses on Gallia Pike.
Just before 3 pm, a call came into 9-1-1 reporting that a man had overdosed and was turning blue. The caller managed to revive the guy with Narcan, however, the caller wanted the man checked out.

When officers arrived on the scene, they reported the man was alert and talking before the EMS squad arrived.
The next day, there was another report of an overdose on Gallia Pike, this time, the victim was a woman.

Dispatch called for Porter Township EMS, but they were out on another call. Portsmouth Ambulance took the call instead. A deputy administered Narcan to revive the woman.
