Parolee Busted After Hiding in Oak Street Crawlspace

Portsmouth Police Officers assisted the Adult Parole Authority and New Boston Police Department in the hunt for a fugitive just before 4 pm.

NBPD requested a loan for Portsmouth’s robot to search for the suspect in the crawlspace of an Oak Street Home. Officers took parolee Carolos Villeda into custody about 30 minutes later.

This was the 36-year-old man’s ninth trip to the Scioto County Jail. Villeda was released on parole for a burglary charge in October of last year.

Officers also charged him with driving under a suspended license and assault.

His previous arrests include burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, assault, contempt, and obstructing official business.
