Video: Parolee Busted After High-Speed Police Chase

Police busted a parolee after a traffic stop on US 52 turned into a police chase. It all started at 4 pm when police tried to pull over a vehicle that fled the scene. The driver headed into New Boston, traveling over 80 miles an hour.

Several units joined in the pursuit and managed to pop the vehicle’s tire. Officers detained a man and woman and learned there was an open warrant for a parole violation for the man. Officers also arrested the woman. They transported the man to the hospital and arranged to have the vehicle towed.

Police said they found an ammunition magazine in the passenger seat, and they later went back out with the woman in search of an item from the car. A K9 officer also joined in the search.

Police arrested Bradley Quantez for parole violation and obstructing official business and Chelsea Workman for failing to comply with a lawful order. Quantez is on parole for having weapons under a disability and non-support. He was released on parole back in October of last year.

Ms. Workman may be facing additional charges as her case was handed over to the Grand Jury. She is currently out of jail on her own recognizance. Mr. Quantez is dealing with the Ohio State Parole Authority. They will determine his punishment. Fortunately, no officers or members of the public were injured in this wild and dangerous chase.
