Parolee Busted at Speedway – 4th Arrest Since May

Parolee Max McGuire found himself back in the Scioto County Jail for the fifth time this year after he was arrested at the Speedway on Gallia. 

A caller contacted PPD Officers at 11:42 pm to report he just walked out of the Speedway. The caller told officers they believed he had open warrants. Police caught up with him at the Royal Inn on Kendall and took him into custody for a parole violation. 

This is McGuire’s fourth arrest since the beginning of May. Police took him into custody back on June 9th for two criminal trespass charges and he was arrested twice in the same week back in May.

The convicted drug trafficker was picked up after an officer responded to a report of multiple people fighting with knives and guns in an empty apartment in Farley  Officers took Maxwell McGuire into custody. McGuire is currently on parole after serving time for drug trafficking and felonious assault. McGuire was released from jail almost immediately, but arrested just a few days later for criminal trespass in the same apartment. Per the court, he was released immediately.
