Luke Ziminski was just released on parole for a burglary charge back on January 17, but it looks like he was already back to his old tricks. Around 1:56 pm, Kroger employees reported a man in a tan jacket had helped himself to $150 worth of razors and other items.
Police caught up with Ziminski on 11th Street and took him into custody. Officers booked the 28-year-old man into the Scioto County Jail on theft charges.
This was at least his 5th visit to the jail. Previous charges include multiple arrests for theft and parole violation along with a warrant out of Franklin County.
At precisely the same time, employees from the Salvation Army Store reported a woman in a black jacket was tucking items from the store inside her coat. Police caught up with her on 14th Street. They reported she was cooperative, and they didn’t find any missing items on her. However, they advised her that the store did not want her to return.
