Portsmouth Police responded to McDonald’s on Gallia for a report of a woman passed out in a vehicle parked in the pick-up area.
When officers woke the woman up, she said it was because she’d been working in the heat all day. However, officers also thought marijuana use in combination with the heat and dehydration might have played a part.
While the woman passed the field sobriety test, the officer was still concerned about her driving. She agreed to call a friend for a ride, and an officer stood by until someone picked her up.
Blonde Fires Shots Near Subway
Just before 4 pm, witnesses spotted a blonde woman dressed in black holding a rifle with a scope near the Subway on Gallia.
The caller said the woman was firing shots in the direction of the alley.
When officers arrived at the scene, they were unable to locate the woman and could not find any other witnesses.
