Pearl Emily Finney, 86, of McDermott, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at her residence. She was born May 1, 1939 on Kentucky Trail Road in Minford, a daughter of the late Omar Leslie and May Florence (Canter) Pitts. Pearl was a homemaker and a devoted member of Big Run Church, where she was well known for her love of gospel music and singing. She spent her life caring for her family, serving her church, and sharing her faith through music.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Ronald Finney; three sons, Richard Eldon Baker, Wade Eric Baker, Ronald Shane Finney; three daughters, Sue Ellen Henry, Rhonda Feazel, Georgia (Finney) Bodine, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Guy Wood Baker, one daughter, Kerry Lynn Hamilton, and eleven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with David Phipps officiating. Burial will be at White Gravel Cemetery in Minford.
