Perry G. Davis, 64 of Jackson, Ohio formerly of Stockdale, Ohio passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, after a two-year battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Zena Steinhauer Davis of Stockdale, Ohio.

He was the proud Pap to six grandchildren, Elizabeth (Wesley) Hawkins, Dakota Davis, Drake Davis, Alexis Davis, Aubrey Jones, and Dylan Jones; one great-granddaughter, Eliana Hawkins, and one brother, Gregg (Bridget) Davis of Jackson.

Perry loved people, never meeting a stranger. He could talk with anyone and lived his life to the fullest. Helping someone in need was a joy for him. Perry never gave up because “can’t” was not a part of his vocabulary. Hardly ever missing school or work because he loved being part of the business of life.

He was part of the drama club in school and sang the national anthem before one basketball game.

Perry’s philosophy was from a speech of Robert F. Kennedy “some men see things as they are, and say why. I dream of things that never were, and say why not”.

Perry’s family would like to give special thanks to Perry’s cancer treatment team and treatment doctor at OSU. Also to RN’s Mikalyn and Kat and NP Shaina at OSU ICU. Deraiche RN of Jackson Holzer ER and also the staff at SOMC Hospice of Portsmouth, Ohio.
