Man With Knife Reported on Gallia Street
Portsmouth Police Officers responded to a report of a man with a knife attempting to fight people in the 2900 block of Gallia.
Witnesses said the man attempted to stab several people. A witness gave officers the man’s name and other pertinent information to help them locate him.
Officers took information for a report.
Person With Knife Reported in Wheelersburg
Just after 10 am, a Wheelersburg caller reported a man lying under a tree waving a butcher knife around on Ohio River Road.
When officers arrived on the scene, they learned the man was an employee of a nearby restaurant and was actually holding a spatula.
