Police Investigate After Man Confesses To Killing Family
A frightening call came into a Portsmouth rehab facility just before 7 pm. Personnel reported that a client had called the center and claimed he was going to turn himself in because he’d shot his family. They also advised police the man was an active drug user.
Police immediately responded to the address the man had been discharged to back in August. They learned he had moved and headed to another address.
Officer discovered he lived alone and no one else was in the apartment. They also contacted his family to make sure they were all right. Police noted the man had been drinking, but he denied having made any claims of violence.
