Police Investigate Taco Bell Stabbing Report 

Just after 11:30 am, a man contacted PPD to report that he’d been stabbed in the hip by his girlfriend a few days previously. He said his girlfriend was currently at a Farley Square apartment.  

When police arrived at the apartment, no one answered the door. According to neighbors, the resident had moved.  

The woman contacted officers a few minutes later to say that the accusations were untrue. She said she was just with him at the Taco Bell and that he had “put his hands on her” at the restaurant.  

Police took information for a report, and the man agreed to go with drug counselors for treatment.  

Loose Pit Bulls Reported in Trailer Park 

Just after 1 pm, officers responded to Bertha Avenue after a caller said two aggressive pit bulls were running around the trailer park. The caller said people with leashes were attempting to catch them.  

The dogs were returned to the home, and animal control spoke to the owner. Police noted that the caller is a habitual complainer and does now always tell the truth.

Kroger Meat Thief Runs From Cops 

Just after 10 am, police responded to Kroger for a report that a woman had walked out of the store without paying for meat. She was last spotted headed toward Tracy Park. 

Officers spotted the woman near the Washington Apartments, and she took off running before police caught up with her at 11th and Waller.  

Officers took her into custody and booked her into the Scioto County Jail.
