An arrest has been made in the Portsmouth Police Department for the bank robbery in downtown Portsmouth on Thursday.
Christopher Taylor Wilson was arrested and charged with robbing the US Bank on Chillicothe Street in Portsmouth.
Wilson wasn’t armed, according to police. After a customer made a deposit, he asked a teller to give him all the money in her hand.
Police and FBI officers responded to the scene and questioned several people.
In a statement, Portsmouth Police Chief Brewer thanked Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office and Scioto County Sheriff’s Department which helped identify and apprehend the suspect.
