Police Search for Missing Man
Officers began a search for a missing man after his mother contacted PPD at 11 am. The mom, who lives in Cleveland, said her 33-year-old son had been living in Farley Square with a woman but appears to have moved. She said she hadn’t seen him since last August, but had spoken to him on the phone back on December 6.
Police learned the woman he was living with had moved to Sciotoville and spoke to another woman show said she’d spoken to the man during the second week of December.
Officers learned the man’s father lived in Portsmouth and suggested he contact the police to file the missing person report.
Another worried relative asked the police to check on her aunt. She had heard from her in a couple of months and was worried. Officers managed to contact the woman at a Gallia Street residence and tell her that her family was worried. She told the police, she’d be sure to let everyone know she was okay.
