Police Search Hotels For Missing Kids
Police went on the hunt for some missing children just after 4 am.
Officers learned that a woman had recently been released from prison and taken her children from their custodial grandmother.
Police checked several hotels in the area before locating the woman and children at the Super 8 on US 23 in the company of the mother’s boyfriend.
Officers took the woman into custody. They said the children seemed fine. The custodial grandmother decided not to press charges, she simply wanted the children returned home.
Shirtless Man Walking In Cold With Small Child Causes Concern
A worried witness reported a shirtless man walking out in the cold with a child near 11th and Gay.
Officers caught up with the man near the Marathon Lot. He explained he had just walked to the store and was headed home.
Since the child was properly bundled up for the weather, officers let the man go on his way.
Mom Reports Missing Son
A worried mother contacted the police to report her adult son missing.
The 28-year-old man was last seen on December 3. When attempts were made to contact him via Facetime, someone answered and covered the camera. Police took information for a report.
