Portsmouth Man Busted After Police Chase

A Portsmouth, Ohio, man landed behind bars after he ran from police on Friday afternoon.

It all started just before noon when a woman told police her boyfriend purposefully hit a vehicle she was in and then took off down Kent Street.

Officers caught up with Dustin Craft, 27, on Sunrise Avenue about five minutes later and began a pursuit. He traveled east on Coles before finally catching up with him near the Malt Shop on the Scioto Trail.

Police took the man into custody for felonious assault and also impounded his vehicle.
