Portsmouth, Ohio- Just after 1:15 pm, the Portsmouth Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1900 block of 19th Street in Portsmouth.
Company 2 and Company 3 responded. The caller advised that there were flames coming from the rear of the home and were very close to the neighbor’s house.
No injuries were reported. Red Cross was notified to help assist with temporary housing for the victims. The electric and gas services were disconnected for safety precautions.
The State Fire Marshal was contacted and will be reporting to the scene.
