Portsmouth Police: Duffle Bag of Needles

Portsmouth Police dealt with a duffle bag of needles, stolen beer, and dogs on the loose. We break down the highlights in these next 6 slides.

Duffle Bag Full Of Needles

Just before 12: 30 am, police made a traffic stop at 8th and Broadway. A passenger fled the vehicle, leaving behind a green duffle bag containing several needs. People in the car identified the guy.

Police impounded the bag and disposed of the needles. They issued a warning to the driver.

At 1:12 am, officers searched an 8th Street home for the suspect. He wasn’t there but people did report seeing him run across 8th Street earlier.

Under The Influence

Porch On Fire

Just after 4:90 am, a 7th Street caller reported their porch was set on fire. Police took information for a report.

Stolen Beer For Breakfast

A man decided to get a head start on his drinking. Just after 8 am, Kroger on Gay Street reported a shoplifter took three beers. They did manage to get the last one away from him.

Police tracked him down at 8th and Findlay. The store didn’t want to press charges, they simply barred him from the store.

Officers picked up for disorderly conduct and transported him to the  Scioto County Jail.
