Portsmouth Police Reports - Stolen Dogs & Walker

(Portsmouth, Ohio) Thieves made off with everything from rabbit dogs to a walker to a child’s school computer on Friday. We’ll break down the highlights from the PPD crime logs in these 11 slides.

Hang Ups

Just after midnight dispatch received a hang-up call from the Kinneys Lane area. There was no answer when the police called back. PPD dispatched two units to check it out.

At 12:22 am, another call came in from a woman who said she needed an officer on Highland Avenue and hung up. When the police called back again, she gave them the address.

It turned out to be a dispute over keys. A man gave the keys to the woman who called the police and she left for the evening.
