Angry residents with guns kept Portsmouth Police Officers busy on Thursday. One had to be hauled out of the BMV and another put up such a fight they couldn’t even take his fingerprints.  We’ve got the scoop on that and a strange case of someone throwing rocks at children. Police were called to 16th Street just after noon for a report of a person overdosing.

Officers were called to Allard Street at 9:30 for a report of a man shooting a handgun.

Police took Harold Hutchison into custody. When he complained of difficulty breathing, they took him to the Fire Department to be checked by EMS.  He refused to get out at be treated and charged at an officer.

Once he was taken to jail, they were unable to fingerprint because he put up a fight.
