Alleged Assaults

Get Out Of My Apple Tree

A woman reported people up in her apple trees just before 1 am. She requested that an officer drive through the alley near Robinson Avenue. When police drove by, the unwanted tree climbers were gone.

Under The Influence

Meanwhile at Speedway

James Wilson, who recently got out of jail for trespassing at the Speedway on Gallia, was back at the store once again harassing customers.

When police arrived, they found him passed out in the bathroom. He was taken to the Scioto County Jail

Cone Controversy

Police responded to a call on Offnere Street just before 10 am. A neighbor complained that a resident a couple of house down had set up cones to block the parking spots in front of the house.

Turns out they were having trees cut down. The cones were intended to protect vehicles from damage.

No Help Wanted

Family members contacted police at 10:37 am to go with them to check on the welfare of an elderly Park Avenue resident. The resident did not want the family inside the house.

Hey, That’s My Stuff

Let Behind

A worker at the Four Keys Inn called officers just after noon to report a gun was found in a room. Police impounded the weapon.

Kendall Avenue Confidential

Flies and Missing Persons

Officers received a very strange call just after 6 pm.  A man reported that he hadn’t seen a friend for a few days and he was very concerned because there were flies on the windows of her Kendall Avenue apartment.

When police went to check, a neighbor informed them that PMHA had changed the locks, so there was no way someone was inside.

Police confirmed the story with PMHA. Officers learned the woman’s child was taken into custody by CPS and that the locks were changed. There was no way the woman could be inside unless the apartment had been broken into it.

Since the locks were intact, officers decided it was unlikely anyone was inside.

Custody Crisis

A woman called police to a Grandview Avenue home at 2:40 pm to complain her parents would not return her daughters to her.

Officers discovered that the grandparents have full custody of the children and an upcoming court date is scheduled in the matter.

Family Drama

Feuding family members resulted in a police call to 21st Street at 4 pm. They were allegedly yelling at each other over property belonging to an aunt.

The locks had been changed and the family members wanted inside. Police said no one had a will or proper documentation over who the property belonged to.  Police informed them that nobody had the right to take the property until the paperwork was completed.

Kids Behaving Badly

Child in Danger

A toddler was discovered walking in the middle of Kent Street just after 8:30 pm. Police took a report.
