Trapped In The Bathroom

Police answered a call from a man hiding out in the restroom of the Speedway just before 11 am. He said he was afraid to leave because there was a man outside who had threatened to kill him.

Tree Attack

Crimes Against Kids

Just before 5:30 pm, PPD got a call from a man who said he’s part of a group that monitors crimes against kids online. He reported that a man was live streaming and engaging in a sexual discussion with juveniles. He said he had dates and times to prove it.

However, the person he said was involved moved out of the area in July to Columbus. Police suggested he contact authorities there.

Whole Lot Of Shaking

A woman called police at 8:30 pm to report she was blocked in the Kroger parking lot by a Jeep. She said several people were on top of the Jeep shaking it.

An officer met with the Kroger manager. There were 50 or more people on the lot, some sitting in lawn chairs. Police said they were all obviously kids and not store patrons.

The manager walked through the parking lot with an officer and pointed out vehicles and people who needed to leave the property. The office advised them all to leave or risk being arrested.
