There was a lot of suspicious activity in Portsmouth on Saturday and a lot of drinking but fortunately, not too many other problems. One dude apparently got so loaded that he tried to turn himself in at the jail for accidentally bumping into his other half. Turning Myself In

Just before 7 am a man showed up at the Scioto County Jail. He wanted to turn himself in. He said he accidentally head-butted a woman when she was trying to take a baby out of his hands.

When the police checked with the woman, she agreed it was an accident. She said the man had been drinking and needed to come home and go to sleep. No report was filed.

Brick At Window

Just after 9 am, a Harding Avenue man told police someone threw a brick through his windshield.  He thought he knew who the perp was. The two had argued over stolen medication.

 What’s That Smell?

Police were called out to 20th Street just after 5 pm for a report of a strange smell. They located the source of the odor on Timmonds. The culprit was dead fish.

Who’s At My Door?

Police were called to Charles Street for a report of women beating on a door just before 10 am.

Four women, including the man who lived there’s, ex-girlfriend were pounding on the door. They were gone when police arrived.
