Raymond T. Poling, a beloved Marine veteran, was born on February 18, 1958, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Raymond passed away on November 17, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. Raymond was known for his love of bluegrass and old country music, as well as his skills on the guitar. He enjoyed spending time in his garage, working on cars, and had a passion for driving semi and dump trucks. Raymond adored his faithful companion, Rainbow, his beloved dog.
Raymond is preceded in death by his loving parents, General Raymond and Maxine Marie (Nee Knotts) Poling, and his two sons Henry and Irvin Kimbelton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his six daughters: Amanda (David) Rodgers, Mary Poling, and Victoria Poling all of Friendship, Ohio, Emily (Dave) Riley of Sciotoville, Maggie (Mike) Seymour Rose of South Webster, Donna (Matt) Stapleton of New Boston, and one son Raymond Kimbelton of Columbus, and twenty-four grandchildren.
His memory will live on through the music he played, the engines he worked on, and the love he shared with those around him.
