Just after 10 p.m., a clerk at the Red Roof Inn in Wheelersburg called to complain about a suspicious character in the parking lot.
The clerk said the man was walking around telling hotel guests that he’d recently gotten out of rehab and wanted to buy some drugs.
Deputies spoke to the man and told him to leave the property.
