Repeat Offender Busted on 9th Street 

James Cook

Officers caught up with a man with multiple open warrants near Staker’s on 9th Street just after 11 am.  

Police took James Cook into custody and discovered he had two knives on his person. They gave his bicycle and his blades to his mother and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.  

Cook has been arrested more than 30 times. He was released from the Scioto County Jail back in late May after spending nine months behind bars on charges of theft, probation violation, and criminal damaging. 

Previous arrests include DUI, domestic violence, parole violation, conveying substances into a detention facility, carrying a concealed weapon, drug abuse, criminal damaging, vandalism, receiving stolen property, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
