Repeat Offenders Indicted on Drug Charges 

The Scioto County Grand Jury indicted multiple county residents with long rap sheets on drug charges during its latest session.  

James Eldridge, 62, faces charges of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Eldridge has a long arrest record, with 17 trips to the Scioto County Jail on charges including fugitive from justice, multiple drug possession, failure to appear, probation violation, DUI, driving with a suspended license, and contempt of court. 

Larry Cooper, 33, of Otway, faces charges of aggravated possession of drugs, possession of fentanyl and heroin, obstructing official business, misdemeanor theft, and criminal trespass. Cooper has been booked into the Scioto County Jail 8 times on charges including probation violation, failure to appear, aggravated vehicular assault, DUI, disorderly conduct, and trespass.  

Lucasville resident Gordon Snyder, who has been arrested at least 45 times previously, faces charges of aggravated possession of drugs, identity fraud, and possessing drug abuse instruments. His previous charges include probation violation, escape, petty theft, driving without a license, DUI, receiving stolen property, forgery, parole violation, robbery, criminal trespass, and contempt.
