Repeat Offenders Pack The Jail For the Weekend

By the looks of the bookings at the Scioto County Jail this weekend, you’d think the county was giving out prizes for repeat offending.

James McGlone was back behind bars for the 28th time. Portsmouth Police picked up the 61-year-old man for probation violation.

Jonathon Scarberry was picked up by the Ohio State Patrol for driving under influence. This was his 20th arrest. He has had previous arrests for driving under the influence, endangering children, leaving the scene of an accident,  probation violation, criminal damaging, domestic violence, and resisting arrest.

Edward Rea Krekeler made his 30th trip to the Scioto County Jail. PPD arrested him for a probation violation. This was the 14th time he’d been picked up for violating probation in the past 14 years.

OSP booked Timothy Joe Woods for contempt, this was his 27th visit to the jail.

However, none of these guys have anywhere near as many arrests as Larry Dean Berry. The probation department picked him up on 1/06 and booked him into the jail for his 40th visit. The 40-year-old man has previously been arrested for felonious assault, domestic violence, driving under the influence, and multiple probation violations.

Topping our repeat offender countdown for the weekend is Dallas MIlar, Sr. This was his 50th trip to the Scioto County Jail.

Unsurprisingly, he was busted on a parole violation. Unsurprisingly, since he’s been busted eight times for parole violations since he was paroled back in 2020 on a conviction of giving drugs to a minor.
