1. Worker Falls in Manhole on US 52
Officers and EMS responded to a report that a worker had fallen into a manhole in the 5000 block of US 52 and was not lying on the ground.
When officers arrived on the scene, they spotted a truck by the side of the road with the manhole cover open. However, there was no one in the hole or on the scene.
2. Officers Assist in Emergency Custody Transfer
Officers stepped in to assist a father in the process of an emergency custody transfer on Tuesday afternoon.
They accompanied the man to a Portsmouth home, and custody was transferred without incident.

3. CPS Worker Requests Police Escort
A CPS worker contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 2 pm to request an escort to a home on St. Rte. 104.
Deputies met up with the worker and accompanied them to the residence. However, there was no answer at the home.
