Richard Arnold “Dick” Frasher, 87, of Lucasville, died Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at his residence.
He was born January 4, 1936, in Lucasville, a son of the late Leslie and Ola Bush Frasher.
Dick was a retired Electrician from the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, a member of the Church of Christ at Grant and Summit in Portsmouth, and a 1954 Valley High School graduate.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, James, William, Robert, and Don Frasher; and three sisters, Betty McCallister, Bonnie Dyer, and Joyce Flaugher.
Dick is survived by his wife, Jennie Shearer Frasher, whom he married June 30, 1962 in Portsmouth; one daughter, Penny (Richard) Freeman of Russell, KY; one son, Chad (Shai) Frasher of London, KY; and six grandchildren, Hunter Freeman, Alexis Frasher, Douglas Sanders, Megann (Nigel) Durham, Jaydane Brown Frasher, and Jennie Blue Frasher.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Lucasville Cemetery with Ken Warfield officiating. Military graveside rites will be performed by the William Baker and James F. Irwin Posts of the American Legion. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
