Sharon Bauer, 74, of South Webster, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born February 24, 1949, in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Helen (Edwards) Mault.
She was a graduate of South Webster High School and a member of the South Webster Bloom Township Ladies Auxillary for over 55 years. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, camping, and working puzzles and was an avid reader. Most of all, she was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Dale Bauer; a son, Adam Bauer and wife Tia of Wellston; a daughter, Jodi Pitts and husband Dayne of Minford; a brother, Ed Mault and wife Pam of Wheelersburg; 3 sisters, Ruth Hanes and husband Bob of Ft. Pierce, FL, Nancy Lewis and husband Don of South Webster, Pattie Hilterbrand and husband Ike of Ft. Pierce, FL; 5 grandchildren, Austin, Samantha, Kolton, Katie and Kason; 2 great-grandchildren, Heaven and Sage.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Fletcher.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2024, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster, with Pastor Merit Smith officiating. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 2 PM prior to services on Monday.
