Robert Edward Russell Jr., 86 of West Portsmouth, died Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born March 6, 1937, in Portsmouth, to the late Robert Edward Russell Sr and Ruth Reynolds Russell.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Russell.
Ed was the former owner and operator of Russell Glass in Portsmouth and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Ed is survived by his wife, Lois Schackert Russell, a son, Robert Edward Russell III, a brother Daniel Russell, 3 grandchildren: Robert Edward Russell IV, Brittany Dennison, and Grant Russell along with 3 great-grandchildren: Robert Edward Russell V, Mason Murphy and Carter Dennison.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2023, at Holy Trinity Cemetery with Deacon Jim Sturgin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
