If Ohioans want to get together safely, they need to follow the rules. Governor Mike DeWine issued his eight rules for get-togethers in the Buckeye State, and some of them may surprise you.  Did you know it’s suggested that some folks mask up at home? These rules are nothing new but the Governor did group them all together in one place for the first time.  Let’s check them out.

While wearing masks is not always suggested at home, there are situations where you might want to consider it.

Small Group

DeWine suggested interacting with the smallest number of people possible. Make sure everyone in that group is taking appropriate precautions when they are out and about. Those include:

Don’t let your guard down even if you are dealing with friends, family, or neighbors.

COVID-19 Count

Ohio’s COVID-19 numbers passed 90,000 on Friday. Current numbers in the state stand at:

Scioto County added seven new cases today.  The new cases bring the total to 183. Seventy of those cases are active.  Fifty new cases were reported in the county this week.
