Sarah (Nee Shanks) Fout-Craig, aged 74, of Sciotoville, OH, passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 74. Sarah was an avid outdoorswoman; she loved fishing, camping, animals, and just about everything in nature. She enjoyed arts & crafts and the Old West. She loved her family and, most importantly, her unwavering faith in God.
Sarah was a Manager, business owner, homemaker always honest and not afraid to speak her mind. She was young at heart and mind, and found the fun in every situation. Sarah always pushed forward never looking back. She believed everything was possible, and always found a way to make it happen. Her faith in God was strong and unfailing.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David L. Craig, her parents, James E. and Lillian E. (Nee Bellar) Shanks, and brothers, David L. Shanks and James C. Shanks.
She will be leaving behind her sisters, Clara F. Heaberlin and Barbara A. Russell, one brother Joseph E. Shanks, two daughters: Melissa A. Bloomfield and Peggy S. Watrouse, two sons: Thomas J. Fout and Jeremy T. Fout; six grandchildren: Brandi Gregory, Jeffrey Gregory, Jacob Bloomfield, Haylie Watrouse, Cody Watrouse, Courtni Stevens; six great grandchildren: Noah, Elijah, Caeden, Dakota, Jackson, Hunter; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Sarah’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace.
