Sirens, Suspicion, and Squad Runs: June 4 a Busy Day for Scioto County First Responders

From emergency medical calls to theft investigations and domestic complaints, Scioto County law enforcement, firefighters, and medics had a full plate on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. In total, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) logged 61 separate incidents across the region. 

Due to a decision by the SCSO to stop providing detailed call logs to the Scioto County Daily News in early 2025, we’re no longer able to deliver the in-depth breakdowns you’ve come to expect. However, we remain committed to transparency and will continue to report every scrap of information we can obtain.

🕵️ Criminal and Suspicious Activity 

🏠 Domestic & Neighbor Disputes 

Deputies dealt with two domestic complaints—one near Brady Creek Road and another outside KDMC Urgent Care in Portsmouth. Both were handled without arrests. Additionally, there were two neighbor complaints on State Route 140 and Tick Ridge Road, with one resulting in a formal report.

While many of these calls were resolved without incident, the sheer volume—nearly three incidents per hour—shows how critical our first responders are to community safety.
