Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman announced the promotion of Deputy Brian Nolen & Deputy James Staten to Sergeant and Dispatcher Jessica Voiers to Communications Sergeant.
Sheriff Thoroughman stated:
I am happy to announce that Deputies Brian Nolen and James Staten were promoted to Sergeant in the patrol division this morning. Also, promoted this morning was Dispatcher Jessica Voiers. She was promoted to Communications Sergeant.
Sergeant Nolen has been with the Sheriff’s Office for almost 28 years and Sergeant Staten for 22 years. Both sergeants bring decades of knowledge and wisdom with them into their new positions.
Communications Sergeant Voiers has been with the Sheriff’s Office for approximately 13 years. Sgt. Voiers has worked Dispatch, working as a dispatcher and TAC Officer. Sgt. Voiers’ experience with Dispatch is vital to the operations of the 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center.
