A total of 54 calls were logged with the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) and local EMS. These calls reflect a wide variety of incidents, from medical emergencies and traffic issues to criminal complaints and fire responses.
🚨 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Calls – 17 total
These calls typically involved transport or assistance from local EMS squads:
- Transported Patients: 10 calls resulted in patient transport.
- Locations included: Morris Lane-Blue Run Rd, Big Bear Creek Rd, Rose Ave, Wheelersburg Senior Village, St Rte 73, Noel Ln, Maynard Ave, Bethany St, Herms Hill Rd, and St Rte 139.
- Non-Transported / Handled by Other Jurisdictions: 7 calls where patients were either not transported or handled by different jurisdictions (e.g., Disterdick Ln, Joshua Landing Apartments).
🔥 Fire Calls – 4 total
- Locations included:
- St Rte 335
- Coal Bank Hollow Rd
- Goose Creek Rd
- Pershing Ave
All fire incidents were marked as completed by SCSO and fire units.
🚔 Criminal and Investigative Calls – 17 total
Types of Incidents:
- Investigate Complaints – 7 calls (e.g., Tick Ridge Rd, Smith Perry Rd, Bahner Rd, Scioto County Jail).
- Theft Reports – 2 incidents (Hammerstein Rd and Dollar General in Rosemount).
- Threats or Harassment – 2 calls (Hickman Rd and Henley Comstock Rd).
- Neighbor Complaints – 2 calls (Flatwood-Fallen Timber Rd and Oakwood Dr).
- Narcotics Complaint – 1 call (Sunset Ave).
- Suspicious Vehicle – 1 call (St Rte 104).
- Juvenile Complaint – 1 call (Fairgrounds Rd).
🔍 Of these, 5 incidents resulted in full reports being taken by deputies, while the rest were logged or marked for investigation only.

All were either determined to be false alarms or under investigation:
- Locations included: Gleim Rd, St Rte 140, Scioto County Garage, Calverts Ln, and Rosemount Dollar General.

- Civil Process Service – 4 calls
- Escort/Parade Detail – 1 call (Smith Perry Rd)
- Investigation/Follow-Up – 1 call (Rigrish Rd, report taken)

- Rosemount: Fire, theft, EMS call
- Bennett School House Rd: Two incidents (investigation and EMS)
- Lucasville-Minford Area: Traffic accidents and alarms
- Wheelersburg Area: Senior Village EMS transport
