Sharon Irene Aldridge, 68 of Portsmouth passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at SOMC Hospice. Born May 4, 1952, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late George and Belva McCammon Roush, she was a 1970 Minford High School graduate and attended Welcome Home Christian Fellowship. Sharon was a CNA and worked in housekeeping for different nursing homes.

She is survived by one daughter, Crystal (Michael) Steele; five grandchildren, Thomas (Micah) Caudill, Raquel Caudill, Trace Smith, Christi (Chris) Collins, Deana Smith; three great-grandchildren, Thomas Lee Caudill, Ryleigh Langdon, Brayden Langdon; three brothers, George (Susie) Roush, John Roush, Larry (Aggie) Roush, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Aldridge April 4, 1999, and two sisters, Debbi Collins and Shelby Benner.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Roy Bennett officiating. Burial will be at South Webster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
