Shawnee State Hosts ACT Prep Session to Help Students Get Test-Ready

High school juniors and seniors looking to boost their ACT scores can join an ACT Test Prep session at Shawnee State University on Saturday, Feb. 1. Originally scheduled for Jan. 11 but postponed due to weather, the session offers a chance for students to sharpen their skills before upcoming test dates.

The workshop, which runs from 8 a.m. to noon in Massie Hall, Room 020, costs just $15. Students already signed up for the original January session don’t need to re-register.

Participants will get hands-on guidance with important concepts, practical test-taking strategies, and practice exercises in a focused and supportive environment. To make the most of the session, students are encouraged to bring their own preparation materials, like calculators and writing supplies.

Being ready for the ACT can make a big difference in college admissions, scholarships, and future opportunities. This prep session is an affordable way to help students approach the test with confidence.

Registration is available online at shawnee.edu/act-prep. For more details, contact Kim Ellison at (740) 351-3477 or email kellison@shawnee.edu.
