Just before 11 pm, officers responded to JJ’s Shenanigans Bar on Gallia. According to the 911 caller, a male was beating a female outside.
Police caught up with the suspect at the BP on Gallia. The fight appeared to be between a brother and sister.
The male said he had just grabbed his sister by the arm, which caused her to drop her phone, $300, debit card, and ID.

Meanwhile, another officer questioned the female. She was less cooperative. She stated that she believed he had taken her phone, money, and other items. However, she claimed she did not know his name and did not wish to file a report.
With an uncooperative victim, police decided to ensure she left with a sober party, and the issue was closed.
