Shooting Threat at Tracy Park

Multiple people contacted Portsmouth Police on Wednesday afternoon to report that a man threatened to get a gun and shoot a woman.

Witnesses said the man went to his truck, got something out of it, put it in his pants, and then returned to a woman in the stage area.

Officers spoke with both parties, and the woman did not want to press charges since the man apologized to her.

Man Flips Out – Refuses to Leave Frank & Steins

The saying goes, “You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here,” and one patron of Frank & Steins Lounge on Chillicothe didn’t take that bit of news well.

Officers responded to a complaint that a patron refused to leave the bar and was punching the glass in protest.

Employees didn’t want to press charges; they just wanted him to leave. Police sent him home with a sober friend.
