Portsmouth Police responded to the Salvation Army Family Store on Findlay Street just before 5 pm when a woman refused to stay out of the store’s dumpster.
When the manager asked her to get out of the dumpster, she said the woman became rude and refused to go.

Officers explained to the woman that if a store wants you to get out of their dumpster, you are obligated to leave.
Employees told the woman she was welcome to shop in the store, but she’d need to stay out of the dumpster.
