shots fired

Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies headed to Twin Valley Road after a man said someone in a vehicle fired multiple gunshots in the direction of his neighbor’s home before fleeing the area.

Officers checked the neighbor’s home and did not see any damage. The caller said the vehicle was likely a red vehicle with a loud exhaust system. Deputies took information for a report.

About three hours later, there was another incident with shots allegedly fired by someone in a vehicle with a loud exhaust. A Dever Branch Road resident said they found someone trespassing on their property. When they went outside to confront the intruder, they fired a shot toward the resident’s home and fled the area in a pickup truck with a loud exhaust. However, the resident admitted they had been using drugs and were unclear on some of the details.
