Deputies arrested two sisters for domestic violence after a dramatic throwdown at a family party.
Just before 9 pm, one sister asked officers to meet her at the South Point Walmart. She told them she was at a family gathering when her two sisters attacked her. The woman said it all started when her father made a comment regarding the discipline of her children.
The woman gathered her kids and decided to leave, but not before telling her father that she didn’t appreciate the way he spoke to her children.
When she went to leave, she claimed one sister yelled at her and tried to yank her out of her car by the arm. A second sister joined in and started pulling her hair.
When she pulled away from them and started the car to leave, she said they began to beat on her window with her children in the car.
When deputies responded to the father’s home, the sisters admitted there was an argument and that they had tried to pull their sister out of the car.
Deputies arrested both women for domestic violence and took them to the Lawrence County Jail.
