Small Town Ohio: Burning Body Discovered

A young woman’s burning body was discovered last week in the woods of a small central Ohio community. The cause of death has been ruled homicide.

The remains of Jenay Crawley, 23, were found by firefighters responding to reports of a brush fire in Urbancrest, Ohio.

The small Ohio town has just over 900 residents.

Ms. Crawley lived in Columbus, Ohio. She was killed by strangulation as well as suffering trauma to the other parts of her body.

Crawley’s death is believed to have taken place in an area other than the location where she was burned, but more information has not been released.

Ohio investigators are working hard to determine the motive for the murder and subsequent unholy cremation.

The case has not yet resulted in any arrests.
