Sober Living Home Won’t Cooperate in Search for Wanted Woman
Police received a tip that a wanted parolee from Texas was staying at a sober living facility in Portsmouth.
When police contacted the facility, they thought the staff acted as if the woman were inside. However, they were told that staff could not confirm or deny that a person was at the facility because it was a sober living facility.
Officers were unable to investigate further.
Screaming Woman Spotted On Levy
Officers responded to a report of a woman screaming while running back and forth on top of the levy just before 3 pm.
Officers took the troubled woman into custody, wrote her a citation, and dropped her off at a counseling center.
