Just after 1 pm, a caller reported that a relative had shot himself at a South Webster home.
Medics and deputies responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance, which had an ETA of 10 minutes.
However, it was determined that the victim passed away at the scene.
The coroner sent a transport to take possession of the deceased, and officers took information for a report.
